Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub Review – Charcoal is one of the best natural skin care ingredient for oily and acne-prone skin. Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub is enriched with charcoal powder. Last summer I have had a really bad breakout and I got myself quite a number of skin care products to deal with the situation. This Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub was one of them. Lack of exfoliation is one of the main causes of acne breakouts. Dead skin cells clog the pores and also leads to the formation of acne and pimples. So I was in search of a deep cleansing face scrub for my combination-oily skin. Along with charcoal powder, Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub contains basil extracts, neem extracts as well as lemon oil.

Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub Packaging

Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub comes in a transparent plastic jar with a screw open cap. Under the cap, there is an additional lid provided to prevent spillage. All the product information is present on the tub in detail. Some of us are concerned about the hygiene of a tub packaging, but using a clean hand or a spatula to scoop out the product solves the issue to a good extent. Though the packaging is sturdy and user friendly, but I don’t find the tub travel friendly enough since it will occupy a more space than a tube would do.

Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub Appearance

Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub is a charcoal black colored scrub with thick, creamy consistency. In fact, it has some granular particles in it. The fragrance it bears is herbal, but I feel it is little bit strong and also uncomfortable. Thankfully, the fragrance doesn’t last long.

My experience with Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub

The scrub says that it is suitable for normal, oily and also combination skin. Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub contains charcoal powder which acts as a magnet and also soak the impurities from the pores and deeply cleanses the skin from within. The scrub spreads easily on wet skin and since its sulfate free, it doesn’t lather up. The granular particles present in the scrub exfoliate the skin nicely without being harsh. It rinses off easily. Moreover, since the scrub is quite creamy, a little amount is enough per use, and a 125 gm jar lasts really long.

Coming to the result, Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub doesn’t make the skin dry post application. Skin feels hydrated, soft and supple. It also gets rid of the excess oil, without imparting any dryness. The charcoal scrub deeply cleanses as well as detoxifies the skin and make skin soft, supple and glowing. Regular application controls the frequency of breakouts as well as minimizes the pores to a great extent. It also enhances the texture and complexion of the skin over time. Despite being black in color, it doesn’t stain the skin at all. The only con I have found in it is that the scrub is not much effective on whiteheads and blackheads, specially the deeply rooted ones.

Overall, Inatur Herbals Charcoal Face Scrub is a gentle facial scrub, good for combination, oily and acne prone skin. In fact it detoxifies and cleanses the skin from within and prevents breakouts. It also helps to minimize pores and make skin soft, supple and glowing.
